The process

How does it work?

How does it work?

A new tattoo, or your first tattoo appointment can be exciting and maybe a bit intimidating, and that's completely understandable. That's why it can be helpful to get acquainted and discuss your ideas and wishes during a free consultation.

Here you can ask all your questions, and I can advise you on the best approach and implementation for the best result with your new tattoo.

We'll go over your idea or design and try to create as clear a picture as possible together. Once you've got a clear idea of the tattoo, we'll determine together when we can schedule your tattoo appointment. A deposit will be charged to confirm this appointment. This amount will be deducted from the remaining balance at the (final) tattoo session.

If you already have a clear idea of what you want your next tattoo to look like, you can easily submit your request using the 'Make an Appointment' button. You'll then receive a quick response with a proposal for the next steps for your new tattoo.

ABOUT ME

Paul Coppens

Paco is a pseudonym

Paco is a pseudonym and abbreviation of my name; Paul Coppens. I used it once for a school project during my design studies, and it's stuck as a nickname ever since.

After repeatedly struggling to express my creativity in previous jobs, I started experimenting with tattooing at the urging of friends. I'd been interested since I started getting tattoos myself at 19, and even though I've always been drawing a lot, tattooing seemed out of reach. But now I thought, "If others can learn, why not me?"

Early 2021, I started as an apprentice and after that I’ve been working full-time as a tattoo artist since mid-2023. It was mainly through drawing and experimenting with different styles that I found myself most drawn to the art of lettering.

The freedom and space to develop an authentic, personal look has fostered a deep passion for this style. Because of this, I take on all projects that feature letters and/or numbers with love and care. I work on these designs with pride from start to finish, which is why this always results in unique and detailed tattoos.

Besides that, I enjoy many other styles, such as blackwork, fineline, ornamental, american traditional, and realism. Clean and precise, with attention to detail, contrast, and flow.
